AI implementation — eCommerce only

Your store is leaking money in three places.

Support tickets you shouldn't be answering. Carts nobody helped close. AI assistants recommending your competitors instead of you. We audit all three, put your own numbers against each, and build the one that pays back fastest.

The AI Store Readiness Audit

Most AI projects in eCommerce fail before anyone writes code — messy product data, rules nobody wrote down, systems that won't talk to each other. So before we build anything, we go through your store, your systems and your support history by hand. You get back what AI can safely do, what it must never touch, and what each one is worth in your numbers.

IT ANSWERS FOUR QUESTIONS
1Can AI understand your store?
2Can AI help customers buy?
3Can AI handle support safely?
4Can AI connect to your systems?
YOU LEAVE WITH

Four scores, a 30-day action plan, and a cost and payback estimate — yours to keep, whether or not we build it.

01

Customer support review

Common questions, return, refund, cancellation and shipping rules, approval cases, current helpdesk tools and repeated manual work.

OUTPUT — what AI can automate, assist with, or must leave to humans
02

Sales experience review

How customers find products, comparison needs, pre-sale questions, sizing and compatibility problems, upsell and cart friction.

OUTPUT — sales tasks an assistant can handle, and their expected value
03

Product data review

Titles, descriptions, categories, variants, prices, stock, images, attributes and identifiers — plus what's missing or wrong.

OUTPUT — data problems that cut AI visibility or cause wrong recommendations
04

AI discovery review

We test whether AI systems can find your store and products, understand and compare them, and avoid recommending unavailable items.

OUTPUT — an AI discovery score and a list of visibility gaps
05

Systems and integration review

Shopify, helpdesk, CRM, inventory, orders, shipping, payments, available APIs, custom apps and data access limits.

OUTPUT — a system map and the work needed to connect them
06

AI action and safety review

What the AI may do unattended — answer, add to cart, cancel, start a return, issue credit — plus approvals, identity checks, logs and takeover.

OUTPUT — allowed, restricted and human-only action lists
07

AI commerce review

Feed quality, structured data, live price and stock access, cart and checkout support, order tracking, returns, and emerging agent-commerce standards.

OUTPUT — a readiness level for AI discovery and AI-led transactions

Where your store sits today

Every audit ends on one of four levels. The level decides what we build first — and skipping ahead is the most expensive mistake in eCommerce AI.

LEVEL 1

Not ready

Major gaps in product data, process or systems. Those get fixed first — nothing built on top would hold.

LEVEL 2

Assist ready

AI can answer questions and support your team, but should not take actions on orders or money yet.

LEVEL 3

Automation ready

AI completes selected support and sales tasks end to end, inside written rules and approval limits.

LEVEL 4

Commerce ready

Outside AI platforms can find, recommend and buy your products — cart, checkout and orders included.

Three services. You only need one to start.

The audit decides which. We build it, measure it in your numbers, and expand only once it's paying for itself.

SERVICE 01

Custom AI customer support

Off-the-shelf apps handle the easy half. This is for stores with complex rules, several connected systems, or real ticket volume — a system that answers product and order questions, checks status, handles returns and cancellations, applies your rules, and escalates anything needing human approval.

  • Connected to Shopify, your helpdesk, CRM and inventory
  • Explicit allowed / restricted / human-only action list
  • Logged activity and clean human takeover

It hasn't left the warehouse, so I can cancel it now. The 5Y is in stock — I've put it in your cart at the same price you paid. Refund lands in 3–5 days.

WHY WE WRITE THE ACTION LIST FIRST

Last February a UK store's chatbot was flattered into inventing an 80% discount code — on an £8,000 order. It was only meant to answer questions overnight, and nobody had written down what it couldn't do. Cancelling isn't always an option either: in Moffatt v. Air Canada, a tribunal held the airline to what its chatbot promised.

SERVICE 02

AI sales assistant

For catalogues where choosing is the hard part — technical products, sizing, compatibility, too many options. It asks what the customer needs, compares products, explains the differences, suggests bundles, checks price and stock, adds to cart and starts checkout.

  • Recommends only what's actually in stock and suitable
  • Handles sizing and compatibility questions before the cart
  • Bundles and related items where they genuinely fit

SERVICE 03

AI commerce readiness

AI assistants are becoming a shopping channel, and they can only recommend what they can read. If your product data, prices, stock and checkout aren't legible to them, they'll recommend the competitor whose data is. We fix the data, descriptions and attributes, add structured information, repair feeds and prepare your APIs and checkout for AI agents — then test whether AI systems actually recommend you correctly.

  • Structured product data and cleaner feeds
  • Live price, stock, cart and checkout access for agents
  • Prepared for emerging agent-commerce standards

How we work

One focused implementation at a time, on a five-week clock. We expand only after the first system earns it.

01 · WEEK 1

Readiness audit

Store, systems and support history reviewed by hand, then scored.

02 · WEEK 1

Find the costly problems

Ranked by money saved or earned, not by how interesting they are.

03 · WEEK 2–4

Build one system

Narrow scope, your rules written down, tested against real cases.

04 · WEEK 5

Measure the result

Resolution rate, conversion, AOV, refunds, tickets per order.

05 · AFTER

Expand

Only once the first system earns its place. Then the next service.

Questions store owners ask

No. We work with Shopify, Woo, BigCommerce and headless setups as they are, and build on the systems and APIs you already have.

Start with the audit

Find out what AI is worth in your store before you spend anything building it.

One call, one store, thirty minutes. You'll leave knowing whether there's a real case for AI in your business — and if there isn't, we'll say so.
